Cost to finish / 36 tokens to finish: the crowded shelf
36 tokens to finish: the crowded shelf
Six series in our notebook land on exactly the same total, which means price cannot separate them and you will have to choose on premise and patience instead.
Why the sum is identical
Each title here has five episodes, of which the first two are free. That leaves three to buy at a list price of 12 tokens, and three twelves make 36. There is no hidden fourth rung and no discount built into the structure, although a promotion can lower the price for a while, so check the figure on the day. The token basics explain the unit itself. Nothing about the shared total says the six are alike in any other respect, which is why the next section sorts them by subject and by the length of the opener.
The six, and how they differ
With the bill fixed, the differences are in subject and opening length.
- My Wife's Dance Instructor: a tango lesson excuse, 48 second opener.
- Under the Chief: hospital rivalry, 60 seconds.
- Dragon Queen's Dark Desire: fantasy, 61 seconds.
- My Neighbor Stopped Closing The Blinds: neighborly standoff, 62 seconds.
- My Girlfriend's Mom: family melodrama, 73 seconds.
- Trapped Desires: Island Swap: a vacation game, 91 seconds.
Picking one without overspending
Because every title gives you two free episodes, you can sample all six and spend nothing. A sensible bookkeeper does exactly that, then buys only the third episode of whichever one lingers, at 12 tokens. If that still pleases you, the remaining 24 follow. Buying all six outright would come to 216 tokens at list price, a number worth seeing once. For a more patient framework, read whether a series is worth finishing.
